In recognition of nearly 50 years of dedication to workforce programs, the family of Janie Bates has established the Janie Bates Career and Technical Education (CTE) Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship honors her lifelong commitment to expanding opportunities through workforce and career education.

The scholarship will be awarded through a competitive application process to graduating high school seniors in Grayson, Cooke, and Fannin Counties who plan to pursue a college program of study in Career and Technical Education.
