Business Education for Teachers (BET) is an exciting summer externship opportunities for teachers. The project places local high school and junior high school teachers in a week-long externship experience with a local employer.
Here’s what one local teacher had to say about the program:
“It blew my expectations out of the water. I came out of it with a lot more expectations of what these kids need to be in the community in five years or more. We work with good kids. Seeing them take basic materials and turn them into the final product is eye opening.”
