PUBLIC NOTICE

The Texoma Workforce Development Board (TWDB) issues this public notice of its annual strategic and operational Plan.  TWDB is responsible for the implementation of workforce development programs in Cooke, Fannin and Grayson counties.  The TWDB Integrated Plan for program year 2009 and fiscal year 2010 will be submitted to the Texas Workforce Commission no later than June 30, 2009.  The plan will include an update on goals, and information regarding services to local employers and job-seekers.  Workforce programs and services covered in this plan include Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Choices, Food Stamp Employment & Training Program, and Subsidized Child Care Services.

A Draft of this strategic and operational plan will be available for public comment between May 20, 2009 and June 20, 2009.  A copy of the draft document may be obtained by contacting:

Public comments must be submitted in writing to:  the address above; faxed to (903) 957-7413; or emailed to bob.rhoden@twc.state.tx.us.  The deadline for receipt of comments is 5:00 p.m.  June 20, 2009.  All comments will be submitted to the Texas Workforce Commission and incorporated as part of the TWDB Plan.
