Project Recovery The Project Recovery Task Force was formed for the purpose of tapping into three sources of prospective employees; under-skilled adults who lack basic education skills, older workers who need updated skills to enter the market and substance abusers. With the current labor shortage, these groups represent potential solutions for employers, and we believe working together we can develop regional strategies to recover job seekers in these three groups. A 2007 survey of over 800 households in Grayson County identified Substance Abuse as the number one concern in this county. The Project Recovery Task Force has met several times and is currently focusing on substance abuse. Following are some resources regarding substance abuse in the workplace.
