The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009: Offers programs designed to help people find work. These programs will be implemented by Workforce Solutions Texoma. Important Note: Workforce Solutions Texoma has not received the final details of this project so some components described here may change. In an effort to begin preparing for the implementation of the program, Workforce Solutions Texoma is offering the following information: Summer Youth Jobs Program: One program is expected to provide subsidized summer employment for youth ages 16 -24. The youth involved in this project would most likely be employed at no cost to the organization. For profit and non-profit organizations may be eligible to serve as worksite The jobs will likely begin in early June, 2009 and end in August, 2009 Apply to be Summer Worksite: If you represent an organization interested in employing one or more Youth Summer Workers, please complete the Worksite Request Form. Complete Worksite Request Form and e-mail it to Tom Ellis at tom.ellis@twc.state.tx.us Apply for a Summer Job: If you are a young person aged 16 – 24, and you are interested in a summer job, please complete the Youth Program Pre-Application.
